I was trying to sell a project management tool to digital Agencies. With their feedback, I realized that agencies needed much more than that.
They had clients, but they needed to manage invoices & payments, and also managing files across all the docs, stores, etc was a pain across various platforms.
Also, no one wanted to bring clients into the software unless they could personalize it with their branding.
So, after the failed attempt to sell a project management software, I chalked up an alternative product idea. I shared the rough idea with a partner and then a client of what can be a proper solution that helps these agencies manage all under one umbrella.
We then discussed with at least 50 more agencies to validate what we wanted to build. From there, we formed a long-term partnership and built the team to bring this vision to life.
After 4 months of initial development, we launched a beta version and got an overwhelmingly positive response, which validated our idea.
Since then, we have continuously engaged with our clients and they have told us exactly what they’d want next. Our community on Facebook and Public Roadmap dictates everything in our product development.
We plan on becoming the one-stop solution for digital agencies that need to manage their whole agency operation.
